Harold Fox will be 80 on September 18th. The doyen of British gynaecological pathology for a quarter of a century, Harold is renowned for his acerbic wit and his incisive, entertaining lectures  He has been a prolific author and was the Founding Editor of two journals: Placenta and the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer. He has been President of the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists and the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology and a member of Council of the Royal College of Pathologists. He was a longstanding contributor to the Sheffield Diagnostic Histopathology Course. Harold and his wife Augusta intend to spend Sunday 18th September quietly but the Society sends the very best regards and friends are welcome to send Harold their best wishes.
